History of AHS Boosters
During the 1991 - 1992 school year, a group of Arlington High School parents decided that the high school PTA was working and looked for an Alternative. The booster club model used by Stanwood High School was found as a good alternative since it was more than just an athletic booster club. On May 6, 1992, Articles of Incorporation were filled with the Secretary of State for the Arlington Straight "A" Boosters. Straight "A" Boosters. Straight "A" emphasized Booster Club's Focus on Academics, Activities, the Arts, and Athletics. The name, however, made people think that it was only an organization to promote good grades. The Booster Club's official name was subsequently changed on May 13, 2003, to Arlington High School Booster Club, but the focus on the 4 "A"s LIVES ON!
